Terms and Conditions of Service Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any service provided by Wickerbys C.I.C., individuals agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

These terms apply to all service users, participants, and beneficiaries.

2. Nature of Services

Services provided by Wickerbys C.I.C.:

  • Are offered subject to funding, staffing, and resource availability.

  • May be amended, suspended, or withdrawn at any time.

  • Do not constitute professional medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice unless explicitly stated.

  • Are delivered in good faith to support community wellbeing.

Participation does not create a contractual entitlement to ongoing provision.

3. User Responsibilities

Service users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and honest information when requested.

  • Treat staff, volunteers, and other participants with respect.

  • Comply with safeguarding, safety, and behavioural policies.

  • Follow reasonable instructions from authorised personnel.

  • Inform the Company of any relevant changes affecting their eligibility or safety.

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of access to services.

4. Safeguarding and Safety

Wickerbys C.I.C. operates safeguarding and health & safety policies. Where concerns arise, the Company may:

  • Share information with appropriate authorities in line with legal obligations.

  • Take necessary steps to protect individuals at risk.

  • Suspend services pending safeguarding review.

Safety considerations may override service provision.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Wickerbys C.I.C. shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in services.

  • The Company shall not be responsible for personal decisions made by individuals based on general information provided.

  • Participation is undertaken at the individual’s own risk unless otherwise required by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.

6. Changes to Services

Wickerbys C.I.C. reserves the right to:

  • Alter programme content

  • Change delivery methods (including online, in-person, or hybrid formats)

  • Adjust schedules or locations

  • Introduce or amend eligibility requirements

Changes may occur without prior notice where necessary.

7. Data Protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the Company’s Privacy Policy.

 

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales (or amend as appropriate to your jurisdiction).
